MORTAL KOMBAT 12: OUR TOP PICKS FOR GUEST CHARACTERS — WHO WILL JOIN THE FIGHT?
The Mortal Kombat franchise has always been known for its diverse and unique roster of fighters. From classic characters like Scorpion and Sub-Zero to more recent additions like Cassie Cage and Jacqui Briggs, the series has always managed to keep things fresh. One of the ways that the franchise has done this is by adding guest characters to the roster. These guest characters have included characters from other video games, movies, and TV shows, and have brought their own unique fighting styles and personalities to the game. With the upcoming release of Mortal Kombat 12, we wanted to take a look at some of the guest characters we would like to see added to the game. Let’s GO: “CHOOSE YOUR DESTINY!”
Homelander (TV Series — The Boys)
Homelander is one of the most popular characters from the hit TV series, The Boys. As the leader of the Seven, a group of “superheroes” that are anything but heroic, Homelander is a complex and compelling character. He is also incredibly powerful, with a variety of superhuman abilities that could make him an interesting addition to the Mortal Kombat roster.
Homelander could be a very versatile fighter. He could use his strength and speed to deliver powerful punches and kicks, but he could also use his heat vision and flight abilities to create unique attacks that would be difficult for opponents to defend against.
Lobo (The Czarnian — DC)
Lobo is a fan-favorite character from DC Comics. Known as the “Main Man,” Lobo is a bounty hunter and mercenary who is incredibly strong, durable, and skilled in combat. He is also known for his sarcastic and irreverent personality, which would make him a great addition to the Mortal Kombat roster.

In Mortal Kombat 12, Scarecrow could be a perfect fit as a guest character due to his ability to create hallucinations and illusions in the minds of his opponents, which would make for a very interesting and unique fighting style. Scarecrow could use his fear-inducing chemicals to confuse his opponents and make them vulnerable to his attacks. His fighting style could incorporate his signature scythe and a variety of fear-inducing gadgets, such as his fear gas grenades.

Mortal Kombat 12 is coming this year (2023)! At the company’s fourth quarter 2022 earnings conference, Warner Bros. Discovery CEO David Zaslav made an official announcement regarding the eagerly awaited upcoming Mortal Kombat game. A new Mortal Kombat game is finally coming, much to the fans’ great anticipation!
As we eagerly await the release of Mortal Kombat 12, it’s natural for fans of the franchise to speculate about which guest characters might make an appearance in the game. In this article, we’ve suggested several potential candidates, including Homelander, Lobo, John Wick, Judge Dredd, Snake Plissken, The Crow, Catwoman, Lara Croft, and Scarecrow. Each of these characters brings a unique fighting style and visual flair that would fit in well with the Mortal Kombat universe.
